Rapéh Ceremony

Rapéh (also known as Hapé) is a sacred tobacco snuff used in traditional Amazonian ceremonies. Made from finely ground tobacco mixed with medicinal herbs, Rapéh is applied through the nostrils using a special pipe called a “Tepi.” In a Rapéh ceremony, participants are guided into a state of grounded awareness, cleansing the mind, body, and spirit.
