Integrating Yagé

If with patience you attend to the present moment and desire as purely as possible to know the love of the one Creator, that which is yours to do and that which is yours to be shall rhythmically come to you and express to you. And when you feel resistance, stop. Wait. Be aware. There is something that you need to know. Make space for that knowledge. Go into the silence and ask. Then be prepared to wait for that moment when the heart knows, and there is no more doubt.

Q’uo

There is a deep treasure that is found within oneself as they begin to integrate their personal experience with yagé. Here at the temple, we honor everyone’s individual process as they begin to reconcile themselves and heal from their trauma and/or expand their awareness of self. We recognize that oftentimes, the very introspective process that can happen during ceremonies can bring up the trauma itself; that is why we train our facilitators and practitioners in holding space in an ethical and safe way that protects the integrity of the individual as well as their personal sovereignty and always maintain professional and ethical boundaries before, during, and after our ceremonies to protect the sacred experience that ayahuasca provides..

It is well intentioned to have an established meditation practice before attending our retreat that can be continued after the retreat, along with a practice of yoga/exercise, healthy dieting, self-care, and avoiding overuse of social media and maligned sexual activity. It is encouraged to maintain these guidelines for up to 30 days post ceremony in order to assist you with completing a full lunar cycle and biological cycle and gaining the most out of your experience.

We also provide a residency program w/ apprenticeships under the lineage at our Temple for returning guests that are interested in pursuing extended work with the medicine, while working in an environment that is deeply aligned with nature and our connection to the Earth.

Integrating the experiences and insights gained from an Ayahuasca ceremony is crucial for harnessing the full transformative potential of the medicine. Here are some suggestions on how to effectively integrate your Ayahuasca experiences:

  1. Give Yourself Time: Allow yourself ample time to reflect and process the insights and emotions that arose during the ceremony. Avoid rushing back into your daily routine immediately after the experience.
  2. Create a Supportive Environment: Surround yourself with a supportive and understanding community. Seek out like-minded individuals or join integration circles where you can share your experiences and receive guidance from others who have gone through similar journeys.
  3. Journaling: Write down your thoughts, feelings, and insights in a journal. This helps solidify the lessons learned and allows for deeper introspection in the days and weeks following the ceremony.
  4. Self-Care: Take care of your physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Engage in activities that promote relaxation, such as meditation, yoga, or spending time in nature. Prioritize self-care practices that resonate with you.
  5. Intention Setting: Reflect on the insights gained from the Ayahuasca experience and set intentions for incorporating them into your daily life. Consider the changes you want to make, whether they involve relationships, career, personal growth, or spiritual development.
  6. Ritual and Ceremony: Develop personal rituals or ceremonies to honor the Ayahuasca experience and maintain a connection with the insights gained. This can include meditation, prayer, or creating an altar with meaningful objects.
  7. Professional Support: Consider working with a therapist, counselor, or integration coach who has experience with Ayahuasca integration. They can provide guidance and support as you navigate the challenges and transformations that may arise.
  8. Lifestyle Adjustments: Evaluate your lifestyle choices and consider how they align with your new insights and intentions. This may involve changes in diet, exercise, relationships, or habits that no longer serve your growth.
  9. Gratitude Practice: Cultivate a daily practice of gratitude to foster a positive mindset and appreciation for the lessons learned. Express gratitude for the Ayahuasca experience, the insights gained, and the journey of personal growth.
  10. Patience and Compassion: Remember that integration is a gradual process, and transformation takes time. Be patient with yourself and practice self-compassion as you navigate the ups and downs of the integration journey.

Remember, integration is a deeply personal process, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach. Trust your intuition and find what works best for you. The goal is to weave the lessons and wisdom gained from Ayahuasca into your daily life, creating lasting positive change and alignment with your authentic self.
